"Comic Book Response to the Twilight Craze" www.kickstarter.com/projects/1…
We only have 6 days left to contribute to the printing of the ultimate Anti-Twilight comic: When Dawn Breaks, So Too Shall You (shorthand When Dawn Breaks).
In the past 34 days, only 3 people have contributed $70 out of the $3,000 needed to self-publish. If everyone from all Twilight groups contributes just $5, she'll have more than enough to get this project to the press. Please spread the word!
In her own words:
I plan on self-publishing. The funding first and foremost would go towards cranking out hundreds of copies, enough to consign, offer for free to promising networking connections, place on local coffeeshop bookshelves, and sell at comic-cons. Other costs include marketing materials and fees for 'cons. I also plan to buy an ISBN number and listings in book databases.
Publishing the book now, at the height of the craze, would help it get noticed.
Time is of the essence.
Project location: Philadelphia, PA
If you haven't read any of the comic yet, please visit her profile!

Hiatus
I'm gonna have to take a Hiatus from the group for a while; too busy for my own good. Till I'm back, the Contributors'll have control. Y'all behave, now!
Need an Icon
We need an icon, guys and gals! I don't do digital stuff really, so I'm not the best candidate to make one... Anyone have any ideas?
Why Did I Make This Group, and What are the Rules?
Reasons:
1. I've seen multiple Anti-Twilight groups, but I've found that so many are full of people who simply hate the books... for the sake of hating them. I'm trying to make a group that is based on reasons, ideals, morals, and goals.
2. To create a safe-haven of sorts for those who are tired of the name-calling and yelling, those who actually want to get their opinions and their thoughts heard.
3. To increase awareness on the negative impact Twilight is having on the young population, as well as the older.
More reasons may be posted soon; this is just to get the straight bones set.
Rules:
1. Anyone can join, just click the "join"
Where do You Stand?
I posted this in another Anti-Twilight group, but I think it's important enough to post here, too.
As an author, I try to look at both sides of a picture: rather than only deciding why I dislike the books and the ideas the books carry, I also attempt to look at why people like the series. I consider myself to be a reasonable person, if a blunt and straight-forward one.
One must remember that when expressing their displeasure of a series, they must be careful not to offend, for when we ourselves resort to name-calling, we make ourselves look no better than the very people we stand against. For me, that means that I must be polite and reasona
